Special thanks to our supporters....

Comic Relief Laughing Matters and Volunteering Australia supported the WimJam health and well being group. Comic Relief is an independent philanthropic trust committed to helping children and families in desperate need in Australia and overseas.

Mumbulla Foundation is the community foundation of the Bega Valley Shire. It raises money to give grants to local not-for-profit community organisations. In the six years since it was formed, the Foundation has helped local community groups with grants of more than $350,000. Thanks to the Mumbulla Foundation for sponsoring the Grown Your Own Garden Project 2008 and the Art for peace Postcards 2007.

NSW Cancer Council community grants assisted us to purchase a portable BBQ and shade tent for community activities and for hire to community members.

The Law and Justice Foundation through it's grants program supports projects that meet the Foundation's objectives of improving access to justice, particularly for socially and economically disadvantaged people. L&JF have supported us to update the Just a Piece a Paper? Making your AVO work for you.... booklet.

NAPCAN National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect is Australia 's leading advocate for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. It is a national, independent, charitable organisation with a clear purpose to prevent child abuse and neglect before it starts. NAPCAN Kids Can community grants supported our self defence course for young women 12 years and older.

NSW Department of Housing through its community grants has sponsored Art Beat Neighbourhood Outreach project to visit communities at Glebe, Eden and Bermagui.

Bega Valley Shire Council supports our Bega Valley Says NO to Violence campaign. They have also funded International Women's Day 2009 in conjunction with the Office for Women’s Policy, NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.
