WRC encourages mothers and children to come to the centre and celebrate children in our community. Together we can build a stronger, more supportive and inclusive community that is child friendly. 

NAPCAN - KiDS CAN 2008
KiDS CAN sponsored WRC to run self defence for young women 12 years and up through their microgrants. The project demonstrated

• a positive sense of self and reliance with kids involved
• increased social and emotional skills
• supportive and respectful relationships
