I came across this tiny photo opportunity scurrying busily over the concrete floor of our composting toilet. We were able to compare my images with a photo in "Spiders of Australia" by Ramon Mascord. Here is an extract from the field guide description: "The male of this species is easily identified by the large patch of strong bristles on the tibia of leg one, which is lacking on the female. The female has a body length of 5mm and the male 3.5mm and the species occurs in Tasmania NSW and Queensland. The author has observed this spider eating ants and small moths."
