Self Defence

Women's self defence classes are run on a regular basis. The workshops run for 4 to 6 weeks and a small fee of $10 will be charged to cover rent of premises. This is an opportunity for women and girls from 12 years or age and up to discuss and learn the practical ways of staying safe and to gain confidence and self-esteem through the practice of verbal and physical strategies. Class groups are limited to 14 and are facilitated by Lies Paijmans who is a black belt instructor."The classes are very useful for any women wanting to learn some new skills I how to deal with tricky and potentially dangerous situations but they are also great fun and an opportunity to meet and enjoy other people" Ms Paijmans said.
